Blue Dragon Adventure is one of the oldest adventure companies in Darjeeling and Sikkim, established in 2003. Officially commencing in Newcastle, Australian by Mr. Justin Bergholcs, who had lived and worked in Darjeeling for many years prior, and his adopted son Dawa
Gyalpo Sherpa. They formally commenced the Indian side of Blue Dragon shortly after.
Dawa continues to grow the company and has taken it to next level. This year Blue Dragon Adventure and Travel has been formally recognized by the Ministry of Tourism, and the Government of India with their ‘Incredible India’ status. Blue Dragon Adventure and Travel is the only adventure company recognized in the Darjeeling area.

After breakfast, we start our day sightseeing. On our list are some of the oldest monuments and significant historical places of the area.

The view of Mount Kanchenjunga, the 3rd highest mountain in the world, and the entire range before you. (The sunset tea concept was introduced by Mr. Dawa Sherpa after many years of observing the local area where most people crowd for sunrise – this experience is unique)
