Please read carefully the following company policy before registering for the trek

 

PICKUP & DROP

Blue Dragon Adventure only arranges the vehicle pick up and is not responsible for any issues during transport. You can choose to come independently to Darjeeling.

Evacuation during trek

In a trek, a medical emergency or any other emergency may arise. If for any reason you are sent down from the trek then Blue Dragon Adventure will make arrangements for your return to nearest road head. A staff will accompany you.

Evacuation or dealing with emergencies is extremely difficult in the mountains. It is time-consuming as well. A normal trek of 2 hours may take 6 hours in an emergency (a sick person is not easy to evacuate). Doctors do not go along with a team. Doctors are not available at the base camp or the nearest road head either. Blue Dragon Adventure trek leaders are trained to administer first aid and know how to deal with issues related to the mountains. However, they are not doctors.

Registering for this trek is an understanding that you have read up on the difficulties of high altitude trekking and understand the risks. You have also understood what AMS, HAPE, and HACE are. You have taken efforts to educate yourself and you are in a position to manage your own altitude related emergency.

Non-liability

Blue Dragon Adventure is not responsible for any loss/damage of your gears/equipment or other belongings on the trek

Payment

Payment for the trek can be done online through credit/debit card/cash or by net banking.

Cancellation

If a trek is called off at the last moment due to a natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rains, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh etc), Blue Dragon Adventure will issue a trek voucher for the full amount. The voucher can be redeemed for the same trek or another trek in the next one year.

In case you wish to cancel your trek please e-mail us at. Cancellation requests are not taken over the phone.

The cancellation charges are as under:

  • Cancellations prior to 30 days from the start of the trek — full refund.
  • Cancellation between 30 days and 20 days to the start of the trek — 50% refund.
  • Cancellation less than 20 days to the start of the trek — no refund.

Please note: In case of refund, there will be a deduction of 5% (bank charges) from the total fee you have paid. No show will be non-refundable

Terms & Conditions

Booking terms and conditions 
Booking terms and condition means the general and special agreement between Blue Dragon Adventure & travel and the clients. It is very important in a business system to go systematically. It is must necessary that the clients should know the term and conditions of that company before confirming the trip. The terms are sets of regulation that the client must agree to follow in order to use online services.

  1. Booking and payment 
    A client can book the trip when you receive company final confirmation email or invoices only acceptable. When you confirmed the trip, we require photocopy of your passport and 20% percent for the foreign client and 35% percent for Indian client, a trip payment is not refunded if the trip is canceled. This ensures your booking and confirms the reservation in hotels trekking and tours and permit process as per the company policy.

  1. Please note Bank service charge should be paid by the clients themselves at the time of deposit.
  2. After receiving a photocopy of your passport, and advance money from you, we will send you the final trip confirmation receipt.
  3. Remaining balance can be made after your arrival at our Office in Darjeeling or at your hotel. Full payment should be made before the trip departure. Be mindful, we also reserve the right to cancel your trip provided full amount is not paid in time.
  4. Trip cancellation policy by the clients: 
    If a client wants to cancel the trip including prior booked trek, tours and hotels, as prior deposit 15% percent for the foreign client and 20% percent for Indian client, a trip payment is not refunded if they canceled the trip. This ensures your booking and confirms the reservation in hotels trekking and tours and permit process as per the company policy.
  5. Cancellation by the company: 
    Our Company shall have the right to cancel the trip if there is unnecessary circumstances arises like natural calamities, strikes any other obstacle occurrences. If this happens we charge only bank deposit charge of your advanced money will refund or the trip will be postponed. If the Client is not able to do trek or tours according to his/her own problem our company is not responsible.
  6. Passport and visa: 
    An international client must be ensured to have a valid passport, visa and for the domestic client have must bring their valid ID proof while traveling with our company. A company is not responsible for any incorrect or invalid DOCUMENTS if you do not allow passing the country or refuse to enter into places due to such reasons.
  7. Risk & Liabilities:

We are committed to providing the best services which will give you a once in a lifetime journey in this connection, we perform our duties honestly & seriously to make your journey very smooth & pleasant. However, the entire program in Darjeeling, Sikkim, Nepal, and Bhutan are conducted strictly under the rules and regulations applicable in each area. Therefore, Blue Dragon Adventure and Travel shall not be responsible for any changes in the itinerary due to unavoidable circumstances such as govt. restriction, landslide, road blockage flood, snowfall or political unrest or flight delay, client sickness or accident.

  1. Travel Insurance: 
    If a client becomes ill, all hospital expenses, doctor’s fees, and repatriation costs are the client’s responsibilities and the company shall not be liable for any refund of the tour cost.
  2. Personal loss or damages: 
    Blue Dragon Adventure and Travel are not at all responsible for any possible loss or damage of luggage, video camera, passport or personal belongings as it is the responsibility of clients to take care of their own personal properties.
  3. Refund Cancellation:

If you cancel your trip or change the itinerary before or during the trek, Blue Dragon Adventure and Travel will not be liable to refund the money because all the booking and procedures have already been made for you.
