Gangtok Mountain Bike Day Trip

This day tour is designed to provide an experience of riding in and around Gangtok covering major tourist areas with easy riding. The tour covers major viewpoints, monasteries and tourist attraction.

Gangtok is the capital of the mountainous northern Indian state of Sikkim. Established as a Buddhist pilgrimage site in the 1840s, the city became capital of an independent monarchy after British rule ended, but joined India in 1975. Today, it remains a Tibetan Buddhist centre and a base for hikers organizing permits and transport for treks through Sikkim’s Himalayan mountain ranges.

Who’s it for? Intermediate fun loving mountain bikers, mountain biking families and people who might be doing their first multi-day trip. Trails are also adaptable for serious bikers with a short amount of time in Sikkim. Great for Expats looking for a short getaway.
